On Saturday, November 19th, 2016, representatives from The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Limited made their way to The Guyana Police Force Ground, Eve Leary to participate in the ‘Traffic Education and Health Awareness Village’ which was organized by The National Road Safety Council.
This annual event was a collaborative effort with the West Demerara Road Safety Council, The Guyana Police Force, Ministry of Health and The Cheddi Jagan Dental Health School, amongst other contributors. The Honourable Minister of Security, Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan, also graced the crowd with his presence and shared some advice on road safety.
In honour of Road Safety Month, 2016, Ms. Savita Singh, Business Development Officer and Mr. Ganesh Singh from our Customer Service Department, presented branded T-shirts to Mr. Frank Pompey – Chairman, Guyana National Road Safety Council and Mr. Deon Moore – Traffic Chief, The Guyana Police Force, respectively.
