Hand-in-Hand, Guyana’s longest-established Group of Insurance Companies, proudly partnered with Trinidadian Tiger Rentals to launch a local company, Environmental and Technical Solutions Inc. (ETS) – which primarily provides waste management services to companies directly involved in the oil and gas industry -removing and treating hazardous waste in the process. The new company was officially launched on Thursday 19th January 2023 at the Guyana Marriott.
During the presentation, Director of ETS, Mr. Denis Latiff, stated that ETS is the most advanced and experienced waste management company in Guyana. Similarly, Guyanese Director and General Manager of ETS, Mr. Shane Singh, assured the audience that ETS will continue to offer the premium suite of services similar to what was being offered by Tiger Rentals. Mr. Singh stated “we have invested heavily in state-of-the-art technology to safely collect, transport, treat and dispose of a variety of waste streams.”
Group Executive Director of Hand-in-Hand, Mr. Keith Evelyn, stated that “with a strict banking and finance background, Hand-in-Hand jumped at the opportunity to diversify and is pleased with this partnership”.
ETS has been in business for about six (6) months and has already landed a five-year contract with ExxonMobil and its partners.
