Hand-in-Hand Mutual Life Assurance Company Ltd held its Annual Awards Ceremony on Friday 20th May 2022 at the Company’s Barr Street office. Members of the Life Assurance Company proudly presented awards and incentives to agents for their contributions in 2021. The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Ltd, Guyana’s longest established property insurer, facilitated a Personal and Professional Development workshop on Saturday 23rd April 2022 at the Company’s Head Office. Members of staff, particularly supervisors and agents, were equipped with the necessary tools to identify motivational factors, goal setting techniques, and application of key concepts in the sales process.
Our Life Company was established in 1966, coinciding with Guyana’s Independence. Prior to 1991, the Life Company concentrated mostly on offering Individual Life Insurance. Subsequently, attention was directed towards the development of another line of business – Group Insurance (Life, Medical and Pension). Thanks to favourable responses from our valued policyholders, our Group Insurance plans grew rapidly over the years.

In commemoration of World Blood Donor Day, The Hand in Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Ltd proudly collaborated with the National Blood Transfusion Service to host a Blood Drive on Friday 11th June, 2021. Eighteen (18) of our valued members of staff selflessly donated blood to those in need, in an effort to save lives.
A scout is a friend to all and one of their mandates is service to the community. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the need to assist our communities has never been greater. In April 2020, the St. Margaret’s Scout Group partnered with Hand in Hand Group of Companies to donate food hampers and cleaning supplies to various underprivileged areas. Mr. Braam is currently pursuing studies for admission to the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) and continuing studies in pursuance of a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership.
He is currently admitted to practice both in Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago but is qualified to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in the wider Caribbean community.
