The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Limited proudly sponsored the fourth and final leg of the Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC) at the South Dakota Circuit, Timehri hosted by the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) on Sunday, November 13th, 2016. This annual event was packed with excitement and entertainment for the entire family.
The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Limited has a long standing relationship with both the GMR&SC and the CMRC for almost two decades.
The drivers of all categories did not fail to entice the fans with spectacular races that had everyone at the edge of their seats.
In the Starlet Cup category, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Keith Evelyn, secured second place as he made a brilliant finish. Mark Maloney copped first place, while Danny Persaud and Franklyn Boodram finished second and third respectively in the CMRC Group Four (4) (2WD). This category was solely sponsored by The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Limited. At the end the day’s performance, the 2016 Champion Trophy was awarded to Jamaica’s Doug “Hollywood” Gore, who acquired the most points despite Guyana’s Kristian Jeffery thrilling performance in the final race.
